Israeli forces continue wide-ranging counterterrorism operations across Judea and Samaria, arresting approximately 60 wanted suspects in recent days and seizing significant quantities of weapons and military equipment, the Israel Defense Forces said.
Across the operations, troops confiscated six firearms, around ten airsoft weapons, and dozens of additional weapons and related materials.
In the Menashe Brigade sector, forces detained 15 suspects, including terrorists linked to Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad who were involved in manufacturing explosive devices. During the raids, troops seized an M16 rifle, weapons components, and military gear.
In the Etzion Brigade area, forces carried out more than 100 offensive operations. As part of the activity, troops demolished the home of the terrorist responsible for the attack at the Gush Junction, in which Shilo Zabuloni was murdered, in the village of Halhul. An additional M16 rifle was also confiscated.
Operations were also conducted in the Binyamin and Ephraim brigade sectors, including targeted missions in Beit Liqya and Qalqilya. During these raids, wanted suspects were arrested and additional individuals were questioned, including suspected arms dealers and Hamas terrorists.
In the Judea Brigade area, battalion-level operations were carried out in Hebron and surrounding villages. Forces seized a handgun, ammunition, and funds designated for financing terrorist activity.
Meanwhile, in the Samaria Brigade sector, troops conducted several operations, including a raid in the village of Burqa, where dozens of suspects were questioned and weapons components and Hamas flags were seized.
According to the IDF, the operations are part of an ongoing effort to disrupt terrorist networks, prevent attacks, and reduce the flow of weapons across the area.
