Israeli city hit in latest Hezbollah rocket barrage, prompting Israel to strike back across southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah terrorists operating out of southern Lebanon fired multiple barrages of rockets and missiles at northern Israel Thursday, coinciding with multiple cross-border drone infiltrations.
Two unmanned aircraft were shot down in Israeli airspace Thursday, including one which was shot down over the city of Haifa.
Warning sirens were sounded in multiple northern Israeli towns as rockets and missiles were launched from southern Lebanon Thursday.
The city of Kiryat Shmona was struck during the barrages, with missiles and shrapnel from intercepted projectiles causing damage at several locations.
Most of the Kiryat Shmona’s population has been evacuated, and no injuries were reported in the attacks.
In response, the IDF struck multiple targets across southern Lebanon.
Air strikes, artillery fire, and tank fire were reported in the southern Lebanese towns of Ayta ash Shab and Ramyeh, with multiple Hezbollah-linked compounds hit.
In addition, an Israeli airstrike eliminated a Hezbollah terror cell as it was preparing to fire an anti-tank missile across the border into northern Israel.
The reported outreach reflects Hamas' effort to develop new relationships with Syria's post-Assad leadership.
