Projectiles fired at communities in southern Israel Tuesday afternoon were made in Iran, the IDF revealed.
Israelis living in close proximity to Gaza were forced to remain within 15 seconds of a bomb shelter throughout Tuesday as Islamist terrorists based in the Hamas-controlled Strip continued to shoot dozens of rockets and mortar shells at Jewish communities in the south.
The IDF has revealed the projectiles fired at Israel in the afternoon were made in Iran.
“The Palestinian Islamic Jihad is a terrorist organization rooted in Iranian ideology,” the IDF spokesperson said in a statement. “Today, they used Iranian-made weapons.”
Already in March 2014, Israel’s Navy intercepted a Klos-C” ship in the Red Sea that was carrying a massive shipment of arms and headed for Hamas in Gaza.
Hamas is only one of Iran’s terror proxies, along with Hezbollah i Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen and others.
“The threat of Iranian missiles stretches from the Persian Gulf, through Yemen, Syria and all the way to Lebanon and Gaza,” Israel’s Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon stated back in December.
