A Palestinian terrorist was shot and wounded by Israeli forces in Jerusalem on Thursday as he attempted to stab them.
Israeli forces were operating in the neighborhood of Shu’afat in Jerusalem and were in the process of arresting a Palestinian suspect when they were surrounded by several other Palestinians who attempted to hinder their actions, the police said in a statement.
The forces noticed that one of them drew a knife in an apparent attempt to stab them. They shot and wounded him. He was treated by an Israeli medical team, while the suspect was arrested by the forces and taken from the scene.
This incident was the latest in a long series of Palestinian terror attacks, which have plagued Israelis over the course of over 10 months, claiming the lives of 39 victims and wounding over 500.
