IDF soldier killed in training accident

An IDF soldier was killed Wednesday night during a training accident in the Golan Heights, in northern Israel.

Sgt. Ido Ben Ari, 20, of Ramat Hasharon, a tank commander in the 401st Battalion, was killed when his tanked overturned during an exercise.

The three other tank crew members were lightly wounded.

The IDF has launched an investigation into the accident, and the IDF has halted all tank drills until Sunday.
