Overnight Tuesday, IDF troops apprehended a suspect in the Balata refugee camp in the city of Shechem (Nablus).
During the operation, two IDF soldiers were lightly and moderately injured, apparently by fragments from an explosive device that was hurled at them.
The soldiers were evacuated to the hospital for medical treatment.
On Sunday, an IDF soldier was injured when his weapon misfired during another arrest operation. The soldier was still hospitalized on Wednesday, but expected to be released.
On Oct. 5, during IDF routine activity adjacent to a military post near the community of Einav, south of Jenin, IDF troops spotted three assailants who hurled Molotov cocktails at them.
The troops responded with fire and hit one of the assailants. No IDF injuries were reported.
