The IDF launched another wave of strikes overnight Monday on the Ali Taher Ridge in southern Lebanon, according to Lebanon’s Al-Manar television, which is affiliated with Hezbollah.

Throughout the day Sunday, Lebanese media reported Israeli strikes in the area of the ridge, including artillery fire and airstrikes by the Israeli Air Force, as part of a broader wave of attacks in southern Lebanon.

Most of the strikes and artillery fire were carried out after terrorists were identified outside the tunnels on the ridge.

Dozens of Hezbollah operatives and IRGC officers are trapped inside a strategic underground complex on the Ali Taher Ridge, with the IDF controlling most of the access routes.

But killing them could force Tehran to retaliate and reignite the conflict across the region.

Israeli media say that, for now, Israel is opting for a strategy of patient siege, while secret negotiations are underway behind the scenes to find a way out.
