The IAF bombed a Hamas military target in response to rockets fired at Israel. Is a mass eruption brewing?

Gaza-based terrorists fired a rocket towards Israel on Monday night. A hit was confirmed in an open field in the Eshkol region, but no injuries or damage were reported.
In response to the attack, an Israel Air Force (IAF) aircraft targeted a Hamas military compound in southern Gaza.
“The IDF holds Hamas accountable for events in Gaza,” the IDF stated.
The IDF estimates that the rockets fired in recent weeks were launched by terror groups other than Hamas. However, Israel holds Hamas, which rules the Strip, accountable for all attacks.
Incidents of rocket fire have become almost a common occurrence in recent weeks. Over 30 rockets were fired over the past month, close to the total number launched since the summer of 2014.
The last attack occurred on Friday night. The IDF identified three launches from Gaza, and the Iron Dome aerial defense system intercepted two of the rockets. A structure was directly hit and damaged by the third rocket.
The IDF stated Saturday that the rockets launched Friday by a Gaza terror organization were standard-grade Iranian weapons. In an outstanding statement, the IDF blamed Iran for being behind the recent attacks.
The IDF believes that Hamas is enabling the rocket fire, launched by small terror groups, on orders from Tehran, which is seeking to create friction in the area.
