Israel denies entry to US YouTuber Tyler Oliveira over alleged antisemitic content

Oliveira claimed he intended to “expose the invasion of the Jewish community.”

Israeli authorities denied entry to American YouTuber Tyler Oliveira and sent him back to the United States after he arrived in Israel, citing what officials described as antisemitic statements and incitement against Jews.

Photos circulating online appeared to show Oliveira at Ben Gurion Airport shortly before he was deported.

According to Israel’s Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism, the decision was based on activity that “goes beyond legitimate freedom of expression,” including “inciting statements against Jews and the dissemination of content with antisemitic characteristics.”

According to the ministry, among the statements cited were remarks Oliveira allegedly made during a May 8, 2026, interview with Tucker Carlson in which he claimed that “Jews systematically exploit the generosity of others” and “use intergenerational guilt surrounding the Holocaust for their own needs.”

The ministry said Oliveira also claimed Jews portray all criticism or opposition toward them as antisemitism.

Officials further cited a Feb. 24, 2026, video in which Oliveira said he intended to “expose the invasion of the Jewish community” into New Jersey and referred to what he described as a “Jewish takeover.”

The ministry additionally referenced a Jan. 16, 2026, video in which the ultra-Orthodox Kiryas Joel village in Orange County, N.Y., was described as “a New York town invaded by Jews addicted to welfare.”

Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism Minister Amichai Chikli said the move was part of a broader policy against allowing entry to individuals accused of promoting hatred toward Jews or supporting boycotts of Israel.

“Anyone who comes here with the goal of spreading hatred will be sent back the way they came,” Chikli said. “As part of the implementation of the new policy I outlined, entry or activity in Israel will not be permitted for anyone who spreads antisemitic content, supports BDS, or incites against the State of Israel and the Jewish people. The rule is simple: Whoever incites against us simply will not be here.”
