Israeli forces bust terror cell in Samaria

Three minors were arrested for carrying out shooting attacks against the IDF.

Israeli security forces arrested a Palestinian terror cell that carried out several shooting attacks against an IDF post near the Israeli community of Ofra in recent months, the Shin Bet (Israel’s Security Agency) stated Wednesday.

The cell, comprised of three minors, carried out four shooting attacks during October and November, using self-produced firearms.

No Israelis were harmed in the attacks.

Their apprehension led the seizure of the weapons and cars used by the cell in the terror attacks.

Several of the terror cell’s family members were arrested in suspicion that they hid the weapons used in the attacks.

The terror cell will be brought before a military court in the coming days.

“The cell’s activities, which were exposed during the investigation, illustrate the high threat level presented by such cells, which are organized on a local basis and use locally produced weapons,” the Shin Bet stated.
