Israeli forces shut down 8 Palestinian stations over terror incitement

Israeli forces raided several Palestinian media stations in an effort to combat incitement to terror.

Israeli security forces on Tuesday night raided eight Palestinian media stations suspected of promoting terrorism against Israel.

In a broad operation throughout Judea and Samaria, the forces shut down the stations, including Ramsat and Trans media, and confiscated equipment and documents.

Some of the media outlets provided services to Hamas and Islamic Jihad linked media. Two suspects were arrested for incitement to terrorism.

The operation is part of the broader war on terrorism, including incitement to terrorism, an IDF spokesman said.

Israel maintains that one of the driving forces behind the wave of terrorist attacks is incitement by the Palestinian leadership and clergy through its state and local media.

“The Israeli forces will continue to operate against incitement to terrorism with an understanding that it consists of a direct cause for terrorism,” the IDF stated.

In related news, IDF forces carried out counter-terrorism operations throughout the region and arrested 18 Palestinian suspects.
