Israeli security forces were successful in thwarting yet another Palestinian terror attack.
Israeli policemen arrested a Palestinian terrorist in Hebron on Wednesday as he was on his way to commit a stabbing attack.
Forces securing the Cave of the Patriarchs in the city noticed a suspicious looking Palestinian, 16, and called on him to stop. They then noticed he had a knife in his hand. They overpowered him and arrested him.
No one was injured in the incident.
The terrorist admitted he had planned to attack and stab Israeli security personnel. He was arrested and taken in for questioning.
The Hebron area has been the scene of multiple such attacks in the past several weeks, as the terrorists have moved their focus away from Jerusalem to Hebron.
The latest major attack in the area occurred last Friday when a Palestinian terrorist shot a murdered Rabbi Ya’akov Litman and his son Netanel as they were on the way to celebrate the upcoming wedding of Litman’s daughter.
The terrorist was subsequently turned in by his family and arrested by IDF forces.
'It’s unbelievable audacity for Bennett to speak on our behalf,' the soldier wrote.
