Israeli police were forced to shoot an Arab man who lunged at them with a knife.

An Israeli police officer shot a Palestinian Arab terrorist who lunged at him with a knife. The event took place at some point late Monday night into early Tuesday morning in the city of Hadera.
According to reports, the Palestinian was spotted with a knife attempting to board a bus by one of the passengers. Police, who happened to be nearby, were called to the scene.
When the police arrived and order the Palestinian to identify himself, he refused and instead drew his knife and attempted to stab one of the policeman. In footage caught of the scene, a shout and a gun shot can clearly be heard.
The Palestinian was wounded and not killed.
A medic told Army Radio that “We gave initial medical aid to a 20-year-old boy who was shot in the lower limbs. He then was evacuated to the intensive care unit to continue receiving medical treatment at Hillel Yaffe Hospital. ”
The terrorist turns out to be a 21-year-old from the Arab city of Tulkarem and was in Israel illegally.
