No suspects have been arrested in connection with an Israeli who was discovered critically wounded from several gunshots outside a rental home in Cleveland.
A 30-year-old Israeli man was found critically wounded from several gunshots to his mouth and leg in Cleveland, according to local police detective Reginald Lanton.
The victim was discovered by a woman outside her rental home and was transferred to University Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment at the intensive care unit, according to cleveland.com. The website report adds the victim was unable to verbally communicate with police, but could move his arm and look around.
The police have not arrested any suspects yet. However, a witness reportedly saw a suspicious individual walking down the street before gunfire was heard, and police discovered a used bullet, a bicycle, and a bloody knapsack with a laptop inside at the scene.
Detective Lanton added the Israeli embassy was notified and updated.
