IDF responds to Gazan fire

The IDF struck two Hamas targets in Gaza after Israeli soldiers stationed near the border fence with the Gaza Strip came under fire.

Israeli soldiers operating near the border fence with the northern Gaza Strip came under fire, shortly after another rocket was launched from Gaza.

There were no significant injuries, but a military tractor was slightly damaged. The IDF responded by striking two Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip.

“In response to the gunfire, an IDF force attacked and destroyed two Hamas positions using Air Force crafts and tank fire,” an IDF spokesperson stated.

Israel holds the Hamas terrorist organization, which has controlled the Gaza Strip since 2007, responsible for any attacks emanating from Gaza.
