The Chief of Defense of the Italian Armed Forces, General Claudio Graziano, landed on Tuesday in Israel for an official visit as the guest of the IDF Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Gadi Eizenkot.
Graziano and Eizenkot will hold strategic discussions regarding the shared threats and opportunities for future cooperation between the Israeli and Italian militaries.
Graziano was received with an honor guard by IDF soldiers, in the presence of Eizenkot, who presented a Medal of Appreciation to his guest as an acknowledgement of his steps taken towards strengthening the relationship and strategic cooperation between the IDF and Italian Armed Forces.
