Jerusalem cop injured in Arab rioting

A Jerusalem policeman was injured on Wednesday after dozens of Arabs attacked an Israeli police force operating in the Arab neighborhood of Issawiya in Jerusalem.

The Arabs attacked the forces with rocks as they were executing a court order to demolish an illegal building.

The policeman was wounded in the eye.

The police force responded with riot control measures and arrested four Arab suspects.

Issawiya is often the site of Arab rioting, and the neighborhood has been a hotbed of anti-Israel terror. There are incidents of violence and terror in Issawiya almost on a daily basis.
