Joe Rogan refusing to host Netanyahu, PM’s son claims

The world’s most popular podcast is refusing to host Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Netanyahu’s son has claimed.

On Friday, Yair Netanyahu, 34, tweeted that comedian and former mixed martial arts fighter Joe Rogan, host of The Joe Rogan Experience, has declined attempts by the Israeli premier to secure an interview.

Responding to a Fox News story on Rogan’s comments suggesting former President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, “could be president,” Netanyahu challenged conservative fans of the world’s top-rated podcast.

“Great wake up call for conservatives to remember Joe Rogan is not a conservative,” Netanyahu wrote.

A podcaster himself, Yair slammed Rogan’s choice of guests, accusing him of displaying an anti-Jewish bias.

“He gave platform to every single neo Nazi antisemite on this plant [sic], but he refuse [sic] to have my father on his show, because he knows that he doesn’t stand a chance against him, and all those years of antisemitic propaganda will go to waste.”

Rogan, whose podcast, broadcast both in audio and full video formats, draws roughly 11 million listeners and viewers per episode, has taken flak recently both for hosting controversial guests and for several comments regarding Jews and Israel.

In 2023, Rogan came under fire after he defended House Democrat Ilhan Omar’s accusation in 2019 that Jewish groups control the US government via their donations.

“It’s all about the Benjamins,” Omar said.

“It’s just about money — she’s just talking about money,” Rogan remarked.

“That’s not an antisemitic statement, I don’t think that is. Benjamins are money. The idea that Jewish people are not into money is ridiculous. That’s like saying Italians aren’t into pizza. It’s f—ing stupid. It’s f—ing stupid.”

This year, Rogan defended Kanye West’s controversial new song “Heil Hitler,” during which the rapper sings “All my ni**as Nazis, ni**a, heil Hitler.”

The song also features samples of a 1935 speech by Adolf Hitler.

While interviewing the podcaster Darryl Cooper, who has downplayed the Holocaust and previously claimed that Winston Churchill, not Hitler, was to blame for the World War II, Rogan suggested Jews often exaggerate antisemitism, particularly after October 7, 2023.

“And then you start thinking the way your paranoid Jewish friends think, that everybody’s antisemitic, and you go, well, now I kind of understand why they think that way,” Rogan said.

In March, Rogan hosted Ian Carroll, a conspiracy theorist who claimed that Jeffrey Epstein was a Mossad agent and that his sex trafficking ring was “clearly a Jewish organization,” and who accused Jews of carrying out the 9/11 attacks in 2001.
