The American pop star will reportedly collect a cool $1.5 million payday for performing two songs in Tel Aviv during the Eurovison Song Contest next month.

On Sunday, the Live Nation production company announced that Madonna has been booked to perform during the finals of the Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held in Tel Aviv in May.
According to reports in the Israeli media, the Michigan native who is rumored to have purchased property in Tzfat will sing two songs on May 14, taking home a $1.5 million fee that was reportedly furnished by Israeli-Canadian billionaire Sylvan Adams.
Madonna’s Eurovision appearance represents her fourth performance in Israel over the course of more than 25 years, with her last show here in 2012 attracting throngs of adoring fans.
The seven-time Grammy Award winner has widely publicized her involvement with the Jewish mystical tradition called “kabbalah,” taking on the Hebrew name Esther and visiting Israel on a number of trips unrelated to her profession.
Israel won the right to host Eurovision this year by virtue of the fact that Hod HaSharon’s Netta Barzilai won the popular international musical competition last year.
The contest attracts tens of thousands of visitors and press from around the world, with Tel Aviv bracing for the arrival of Eurovision fever next month.
