Missile launch from Yemen intercepted

Earlier today, the Houthi leader promised “more precise and effective” missile attacks on Israel.

The IDF detected a missile launch from Yemen a short time ago, triggering sirens throughout the Jerusalem and Central areas.

The missile was successfully intercepted outside Israeli territory.

The Israeli State Cup game was put on hold due to the sirens and mandatory stoppage.

“Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago in several areas in Israel, a missile launched from Yemen was intercepted. Sirens were sounded in accordance with protocol,” the IDF announced.

Earlier today, the Houthi leader promised “more precise and effective” missile attacks on Israel.
