The National Football League let players create their own cleats this week as part of the “My Cause, My Cleats” initiative. This was the perfect opportunity for Baltimore Ravens player Michael Pierce to showcase his support for Israel.
“The message for me is just the oneness and the connectedness I feel about the land,” Pierce, a defensive tackle, said. “How warm people are [in Israel] is definitely something that I hope people will read about, and then maybe go over … to see exactly what’s going on.”
