‘No more red lines’ – Houthis preparing to escalate against Israel

A Houthi official declared that the terror group’s capabilities are advancing and “real surprises” soon await Israel.

The Yemen-based Houthi terror group is preparing to escalate its aerial attacks against Israel, days after an Israeli airstrike killed nearly all of the Iranian proxy’s top leadership, including its prime minister.

Speaking to the Lebanese news outlet Al-Akhbar, a senior Houthi source declared that the group has “no more red lines” regarding its potential targets and strategy against the Jewish state.

In a separate interview with another Lebanese broadcaster, Daif-Allah al-Shami, a senior official in the Houthi political bureau, warned that the group’s capabilities are expanding.

“Our armed forces and air force do not stop at any fixed threshold; rather, they act based on identifying points of strength and weakness,” al-Shami said in a video interview with Al-Mayadeen.

“Development is ongoing, our rocket capabilities are advancing, and real surprises may await the enemy who does not expect them. Yemen’s military arsenal is large and backed by knowledge and expertise. With the help of Allah, we will launch airstrikes that will surprise everyone.”

Saudi Arabia is reportedly taking the threat seriously and has increased military patrols along its border with Yemen.

In recent weeks, several Houthi missiles aimed at Israel have crashed in Saudi territory, detonating in the desert before reaching their target.

A Saudi military official told Al-Mayadeen that the Gulf kingdom is working to intercept Houthi missiles to safeguard its citizens.

On Wednesday, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz threatened that the Houthis would face retaliation on a Biblical scale for its repeated attacks on the Jewish state.

Within 24 hours, the Houthis fired three missiles at Israel. Sirens wailed across the country on Wednesday morning and again that evening, with alerts sounding in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and the Dead Sea areas.

One of the missiles carried cluster munitions, which are banned under international law, while a third missile launched Thursday morning disintegrated over Saudi Arabia before reaching Israel.
