Palestinian armed with knife tries to enter police station

A Palestinian man was detained after trying to enter a police station with a knife.

A 19-year-old Palestinian attempted to enter a police station at a commercial center in the Binyamin region Monday.

The Palestinian aroused suspicions at the entrance to the Sha’ar Binyamin industrial zone, north of Jerusalem, police said in a statement.

When they searched him, they found a knife in his possession.

The suspect was subsequently detained and questioned by officers.
