A Palestinian terrorist was shot dead over the weekend while attempting to stab Israeli forces.
A Palestinian terrorist was shot dead by Israeli forces on Saturday at the Tapuach Junction in Samaria as he attempted to stab Israeli border policemen stationed at a checkpoint.
One soldier, 21, was lightly wounded from a ricochet, and taken to a hospital for treatment.
The terrorist was identified as Qutaiba Zahran, 17. On Sunday morning, IDF forces arrested one of the terrorist’s relatives.
The Tapuach Junction has been the site of multiple Palestinian terror attacks.
This incident is the latest in a long series of Palestinian terror attacks over the past two years, claiming the lives of 52 victims and wounding close to 700.
In related news, IDF forces carrying out counter-terrorism operations throughout Judea and Samaria on Saturday night arrested five Palestinians wanted for terrorism, including one member of the Hamas terror group.
