Encouraged by decades-long and ongoing incitement, Palestinians continue to attack Israeli civilians and soldiers around the country.
A Palestinian terrorist was shot and killed Tuesday night near Hebron after he attempted to stab IDF soldiers deployed at a checkpoint in the city.
The soldier noticed he was carrying a knife and shot him. No Israelis were harmed in the attack.
Palestinian sources identified the terrorist as Said Hamam, a resident of the city.
The Hebron area has been the scene of multiple such attacks in the past two weeks, as the terrorists have moved their focus away from Jerusalem to Hebron.
Earlier in the evening, two Palestinian terrorists attacked and moderately wounded an IDF soldier at the Gush Etzion junction, just north of Hebron. Both terrorists were shot dead.
