Palestinian terrorists, incited by the Palestinian Authority, continue to try and injure or kill Israeli soldiers and civilians.

A Palestinian terrorist on Wednesday stabbed and wounded an IDF soldier near the Israeli community of Yitzhar, in Samaria.

The incident began when an IDF unit gave chase to Palestinians in a vehicle who were spotted throwing rocks from their car while in movement, a lethal form of terrorism.

When the IDF unit caught up with the Palestinians, one of them exited the car and stabbed one of the soldiers. The other soldiers shot and killed the terrorist.

The soldier sustained light wounds, and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Earlier in the day, IDF soldiers arrested a female Palestinian in the vicinity of the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron after she was found to be carrying a knife.

These incidents were the latest in a long series of Palestinian terror attacks, which have plagued Israelis over the course of almost a year, claiming the lives of 39 victims and wounding over 500.
