Pro-Hamas UK doctor finally suspended, cries ‘Jewish conspiracy’

The tribunal cited Dr. Rahmeh Aladwan’s public praise of Hamas and antisemitic statements as grounds for suspension.

A British-Palestinian doctor who repeatedly praised the Hamas terror group, wore jewelry promoting the October 7 massacres, and spread antisemitic propaganda on social media was suspended by a medical tribunal on Wednesday, after previously receiving only light warnings for her conduct.

Dr. Rahmeh Aladwan, 31, was suspended from practicing medicine in the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) for 15 months, after earlier inquiries resulted only in cautions.

The General Medical Council (GMC) said the suspension was temporary and that it aims to “complete our investigation” into Aladwan’s fitness to practice medicine “swiftly, fairly and proportionately.”

Aladwan claimed the decision proved she is the victim of a Jewish conspiracy, alleging that “Zionists” control the British healthcare system.

“The ‘Israeli’ and Jewish lobby decide who can and cannot practice medicine in Britain,” she wrote on X after the announcement. “What an honor it is to sacrifice for our people. Free Palestine and Britain from Jewish supremacy.”

On her way to the hearing, Aladwan was photographed wearing a necklace featuring the number “7” paired with a gemstone shaped like a zero — evoking 7/10, the date of the Hamas-led massacres.

Her case first captured public attention months ago, after Jewish advocacy groups raised concerns about her participation in Palestine Action protests — an organization the UK government has officially designated a terrorist group — as well as numerous posts glorifying Hamas and the slaughter of Jews and Israelis.

Among her most alarming posts were those refusing to condemn Hamas, including one in which she declared she would “join the Palestinian armed resistance now.”

Others falsely claimed that Israeli female hostages had fallen in love with their captors, that the Holocaust was a hoax, and that Jews are “the most despicable people on the planet.”

Earlier tribunals argued there was no evidence her actions posed a public risk or should affect her medical career.

Health Secretary Wes Streeting later intervened, forcing the GMC to rehear the case.
