Swedish police plea for help in tackling Muslim lawlessness

Sweden’s National Police Commissioner is pleading for assistance amid the escalating anarchy in immigrant-dominated “no-go zones” across the country.

On national television, the Swedish National Police Commissioner Dan Eliasson asked for help in stopping the increased lawlessness across the country: “Help us, help us!,”

Eliasson articulated the gravity of the situation by stressing that the Swedish police lacks the means to uphold law and order in an increasing number of socio-economically weak neighborhoods. The Police Commissioner described the situation as partially acute and urged other authorities and players to assist police in reversing the escalating lawlessness.

A leaked report shows that 5000 criminals, belonging to 200 networks, undermine law and order in 61 neighborhoods across the country that are often described as no-go zones. According to the report, the situation is considered especially troublesome in 23 areas, which is eight more than in 2015. High unemployment, armed Muslim immigrant gangs and large numbers of ethnic minorities who do not integrate into Swedish society characterize the areas.

“There is lawlessness in parts of Stockholm now,” police inspector Lars Alversjo told Norwegian NRK media.

Political Correctness Stifles Public Debate

Public debate in Sweden is undermined by widespread political correctness and unwillingness by the political elite and mainstream media to link the escalating lawlessness to the dramatic increase in the number of immigrants from the Muslim world. Sweden has long prided itself on being a liberal welfare state embracing diversity, and many fear being branded “racist.”

This situation has dramatically encouraged Islamist extremism in Sweden. A disproportionately large number of Swedish Muslim citizens have joined ISIS and domestic Islamists increasingly threaten women and Jews alike. Sweden’s current government has emerged as one of Israel’s strongest critics in Europe and largely failed to condemn terrorism against Israelis.

“In the worst areas, extremists have taken over. The whole sense of justice and peace are threatened by the fact that the police is breaking down and it is only getting worse. Sweden is in a disastrous situation,” noted internationally recognized terrorism researcher Per Magnus Ranstorp.

According to a fresh poll conducted by the Swedish polling organization Sifo, the number of Swedes who want to decrease the inflow of immigrants has increased from 44 percent to 52 percent since November 2016. New elections in Sweden are scheduled for September 2018.
