IDF forces were successful in thwarting yet another Palestinian stabbing attack.
A Palestinian terrorist was shot and moderately wounded on Wednesday after he tried to stab IDF soldiers patrolling in the Palestinian village of Hawara, just south of Shechem (Nablus) in Samaria.
No Israelis were harmed in the incident.
The terrorist was evacuated in moderate and stable condition to an Israeli hospital.
The assailant is reportedly a relative of another Palestinian terrorist who was shot and critically wounded by IDF soldiers on Tuesday as he attempted to stab them at a junction just north of Hawara.
The site of the attack has been the scene of multiple Palestinian terror attacks in recent months.
Wednesday’s attack comes after similar stabbing attacks by Palestinians against Israelis on Sunday and Monday. These attacks are the latest in a long series of Palestinian terror attacks, which have plagued Israelis for more than a year, claiming the lives of 47 victims and wounding over 650.
