“Look at all of the professionally made identical signs. Paid for by Soros and others,” President Donald Trump said of the anti-Kavanaugh protests in Washington D.C.

President Donald Trump accused Jewish billionaire George Soros of financing protests against the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.
Trump tweeted Friday that “the very rude elevator screamers are paid professionals only looking to make Senators look bad,” referring to hundreds of protesters on Capitol Hill.
“Don’t fall for it!” he urged his followers. “Also, look at all of the professionally made identical signs. Paid for by Soros and others. These are not signs made in the basement from love! #Troublemakers.”
Anti-Trump pundits were quick to label Trump’s tweet as anti-Semitic as it singled out Soros, an 87-year-old Hungarian-American Holocaust survivor. Soros, a former hedge fund manager, has poured millions into radical left-wing organizations and said that the Trump administration is a “danger to the world.”
Although Jewish, Soros has often accused of promoting an anti-Israeli agenda through his support of non-governmental organizations. These NGOs paint the IDF as racist and support the Palestinian viewpoint in its fight against Israel.
In February, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu charged Soros with funding a campaign to stop the Israeli authorities from deporting illegal migrants from the country.
