Podcaster Tucker Carlson excoriates Trump over “vile” threats against Iran, accuses the president of mocking Islam.

Far-right podcaster Tucker Carlson sparred with President Donald Trump this week after Trump warned Iran that the US would dramatically escalate its air campaign in the Middle East if Tehran refused American demands.
“Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social account on Sunday.
A day later, Carlson accused Trump of mocking Islam, calling the president’s post “vile on every level.”
“How dare you speak that way on Easter morning to the country?” Carlson said. “Who do you think you are? You’re tweeting out the f-word on Easter morning.”
“So obviously you’re mocking the religion of Iran,” Carlson continued. “OK, if you seek a religious war, that’s a good idea. But by the way, no decent person mocks other people’s religions. You may have a problem with the theology — presumably you do if it’s not your religion — and you can explain what that is. But to mock other people’s faith is to mock the idea of faith itself.”
On Tuesday, Trump fired back during an interview with The New York Post, calling his former ally a “low-IQ person.”
“Tucker’s a low IQ person that has absolutely no idea what’s going on. He calls me all the time; I don’t respond to his calls. I don’t deal with him. I like dealing with smart people, not fools.”
Carlson was not the only far-right personality to assail Trump following the president’s Sunday post.
Former congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene excoriated Trump in a post to her X account on Sunday, calling the president’s comments “evil.”
Greene claimed Trump “has gone insane” and slammed Christians for “worshipping the President.”
Conspiracy theorist and “InfoWars” owner Alex Jones, who previously backed Trump, called for invoking the 25th Amendment to remove the president from office.
A week earlier, Jones accused Trump of committing war crimes in Iran.
