Twitter stopped the IDF from updating the Gaza rocket count on its Twitter feed, saying it was “repeating messages.”

Twitter prevented the Israel Defense Forces from updating its Twitter feed to keep its followers informed of the latest rocket count coming in from the Gaza Strip, the IDF revealed.
“We’d like to update you on the constant rocket fire from Gaza, but Twitter prevents us from repeating messages…,” said the IDF on its Twitter feed. It posted the message on Sunday as a form of explanation-slash-protest as to why it couldn’t provide the latest numbers.
At the time of the post, 450 rockets had been launched by Gaza terrorists toward Israel. The final count would be nearly 700 when a ceasefire was called between the two sides on Sunday night.
The IDF post shows the message it received from Twitter: “Tweet not sent – Whoops! You already said that.”
Four Israelis were killed from the rocket fire. They were 21-year-old Pinchas Menachem Prezuazman, 58-year-old Moshe Agadi, 47-year-old Zaid al-Hamamdeh, and 60-year-old Moshe Feder.
