WATCH: 5,000 wild cranes killed in Israeli bird flu outbreak

Officials from the Israeli Nature and Parks Authority say an outbreak of bird flu has killed 5,000 wild cranes and infected another 10,000.

Avian influenza, which can be passed on to humans, has also been detected in chickens in northern Israel.
