A man and a woman in their 50s suffered “very serious” injuries in a stabbing attack in England and remain in the hospital receiving treatment, AP reported. A police sergeant who was stabbed in the shoulder has been released.
An eyewitness said the assailant shouted Islamic slogans during the frenzied attack. He was recorded yelling “Allahu Akbar” while struggling with police.
The incident occurred at Manchester’s Victoria Station shortly before 9 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.
