WATCH: Axe attack on train in Germany injures at least 21

German media has reported that at least 21 people were injured, come critically, by a man who attacked them with an axe on a passenger train that was traveling between Würzburg and Ochsenfurt, Germany. The assailant was shot dead by police.

Joachim Herrmann, Bavaria’s interior minister, said the attacker was a 17-year-old Afghan citizen who arrived in Germany as a refugee. This latest rampage of violence in Europe comes just a few days after a man who pledged allegiance to ISIS killed 84 people by ramming a truck into a crowd in southern France.
