Since his election to serve as Labour Party chief in 2015, Jeremy Corbyn has been accused of tolerating anti-Semitic views in the party and of being anti-Semitic himself.
Last week, a joint front-page editorial published in the country’s three most prominent Jewish papers said that a government led by Corbyn would pose an “existential threat to Jewish life in this country.”
Most recently, Corbyn has apologized after images appeared of him hosting a 2010 event which likened the actions of Israel to those of the Nazis. Labour MP Louise Ellman said she was “exceedingly disturbed” to hear about the incident, stressing the need for party to clean up.
