WATCH: Democratic chairwoman steps down amid email leaks

DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz will not address the upcoming Democratic National Convention (DNC) after 20,000 emails released by Wikileaks revealed a plot to take down Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton’s main contender, during the primary race.

Republican leader Donald Trump, commenting on the development, says he has “great respect” for Sanders, who “was being taken advantage of, and frankly, the system was rigged against him.” According to Trump, Clinton’s choice of Tim Kaine as running mate was a “slap in the face to Bernie Sanders and everyone.”
