WATCH: Doubling of advanced math students ‘saved Israel,’ Bennett says

Within three years, Israel has doubled the number of advanced math students in Israeli high schools, particularly in the periphery, Minister of Education Naftali Bennett announced, stressing the importance of excellence in math to the future of the startup nation. The success was praised by Chemi Peres, son of late President Shimon Peres and chairman of the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation.
