In a broadcast on the Egyptian Kahera Wal-Nas TV channel, TV host and journalist Ibrahim Issa said that attacking Israelis with knives is “a repetition of the mistakes of the past.”
Issa is certainly no supporter of Israel, bashing the Jewish state constantly and speaking about his affection for the “Palestinian cause.”
That being said, he believes that this new “intifada” is a repetition of mistakes the Palestinians and their leaders have made in the past.
Is stabbing random people on the street a true showing of “resistance?” Was the violence of the past two intifada’s an effective means of resistance?
Issa is calling for a different strategy which does NOT include violent terror. The current wave of terror is doomed to failure.
