Social media commenters have blasted Metzger’s latest outburst as hypocritical and racially offensive.
A video of the former Minneapolis City Council is going viral for all the wrong reasons.
In the clip, Metzger repeatedly accuses the man of being a “white supremacist” while continuing to shout at and harass him.
The exchange has drawn widespread criticism online, with many pointing out the irony of a white activist lecturing a Black man on racism and oppression.
Past Controversies
This is not the first time Metzger has drawn outrage for his remarks about Israel. In the immediate aftermath of the October 7, 2023 Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel, Metzger posted a video declaring that “white people have no right to tell Hamas how to fight,” adding: “When you are fighting for liberation, you have to do it by any means necessary.”
A few weeks on October 23, Metzger uploaded another video showing a group of anti-Israel activists surrounding and terrorizing an elderly man in his car.
The man attempted to escape but was pursued by the mob. Metzger himself can be seen in the video chasing the vehicle, captioning the clip: “FIND THIS MAN!!”
Political Aspirations
Metzger, a member of the Democratic Party, previously ran for the Minneapolis City Council’s Ward 13 seat in 2023. He was defeated in the general election on November 7.

Another critic mocked his posturing:
“White woke terror-supporting, culturally appropriating hairstyle-wearing guy calls a Kenyan ‘brotha.’ No self-awareness, just lefty jargon.”
Others praised the Black man’s composure during the confrontation. Jennifer, an Israeli commenter, wrote:
“Kefiyyah Ken is also a racist. ‘Come on, Black man!’ Are you for real? Who talks like that to people? What an asshole. I love Kenyan Israel dude. Am Yisrael Chai!”
