As part of “Operation Good Neighbor,” the IDF transferred several dozen tons of humanitarian aid overnight Thursday to tens of thousands of refugees in southern Syria fleeing attacks by Syrian President Bashar Assad on the rebel-held city of Daraa.
Supplies included some 300 tents, 13 tons of food, 15 tons of baby food, three pallets filled with medical equipment and medication, and 30 tons of clothing and shoes.
The reported outreach reflects Hamas' effort to develop new relationships with Syria's post-Assad leadership.
