Israeli startup Cartiheal and researchers at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev believe they have found the solution to mild-to-moderate damage or defects in the knee with an implant that regrows cartilage and bone. The first implant, performed recently as part of a clinical trial, appears to have gone smoothly.
