Sergeant-Major Moshe Chen had his face burned when the suspicious woman he pulled over set off explosives in her car in what was meant to be a suicide attack.

The female terrorist was badly burned by the explosion, receiving medical aid in the same hospital as Chen.

The car of the terrorist was stopped by Israeli policeman Chen when it began smoking. It was clear that something suspicious was going on.

Thanks to his intervention, Chen thwarted what seems to have been a major attack intended for Jerusalem.

Though he was wounded, Chen stopped others from killing the terrorist and called security forces for backup.
