WATCH: Israel interrupts Arab rep at UN session for calling Israelis ‘occupiers’

The Israeli representative to the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) interrupted the representative from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with a point of order when she continued to use the term “occupied territories.”

In a reversal of the usual proceedings, the chairman of the council concurred with Israel’s objection and ordered a stunned UAE representative to refrain from the inflammatory term.
