WATCH: Jewish Agency celebrates 70 years of bringing Jewish immigrants to Israel

On Monday, with the arrival of a planeload of some 300 new immigrants to Israel from France, Yigal Palmor of the Jewish Agency said Israelis are celebrating 70 years of bringing ‘olim’ and building the country.

Jewish Agency Chairman-elect Isaac Herzog said that encouraging aliyah remains a most important value of the organization, which also focuses on strengthening Israel’s relationship with Diaspora Jewry.
