US President Donald Trump stood by the statement he made Saturday condemning both sides for the deadly violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, saying that not all the facts were available. “When I make a statement, I like to be correct” – and as the investigation shows, the statement was “excellent,” he said.
His reference to the the “head of Walmart” referred to the CEO’s accusation that Trump failed to take an opportunity to unite the nation by not immediately slamming the White Supremacists.
