Tristan Morgan, 52, was given an indefinite hospital order after pleading guilty to arson and two charges under the Terrorism Act on Friday. He tried burning down a synagogue but burned himself instead.
He was also given a 10-year terrorist notification order, which means that he will be subject of long-term police monitoring.
