The U.S. Government has officially blamed North Korea for the massive ransomware cyber attack dubbed “WannaCry,” which spread across the world disrupting more than 200,000 businesses from 35 countries this past May. This latest episode adds to the list of previous cyber attacks launched by North Korean hackers.
