The Marcus family was denied tax-exempt status in the US for its pro-Israel non-profit organization called Z-street–for no apparent reason. After many years of getting the cold shoulder, Z-street took the IRS to court. In the case, it was revealed that the IRS, during the Obama administration, claimed erroneously that Z-street was supporting terror by advocating for Israel.
