Beloved Jewish comedian Jerry Lewis, whose 1950s Thanksgiving Party for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) turned into an annual telethon that raised over a billion dollars to combat the disease, passed away Sunday at the age of 91. Here’s a tribute to Lewis, who was also a great friend of Israel.
